Customer Overview
A quick summary of a customer’s usage and billing with easy drill‑downs to detailed insights.
1. What Customer Overview Provides
Customer Overview gives a clear, high‑level summary of a customer’s usage and billing. It helps you quickly understand:
- What the customer is using
- What the customer is being charged for
- How usage and billing have changed over time
- Where to drill down for more detail
The page is designed to support everyday work for billing teams, service managers, and anyone who needs to review customer activity before moving into more detailed dashboards.
2. Accessing Customer Overview
Customer Overview is part of the new navigation.
To access it:
- Open Account Settings (top‑right, behind your username).
- Enable the new navigation.
- Go to Organizations in the top menu.
- Select Customer Overview from the left sidebar (unless it opens automatically).
Note: Customer Overview is only available in the new navigation.
3. Page Overview
When no organization is selected
You will see a simple starting view with only the search field for finding organizations.
When an organization is selected
You can use the search field to find an organization; suggestions appear as you type.
Once an organization is selected, the page shows:
- Insight cards for Total Invoicing, Draft Invoices, and Sold Products
- Invoicing trend and Usage events trend charts
- A dual‑axis chart (Object Amount vs. Charges)
- A summary list grouped by Product Categories, Object Types, and Object Profiles

6. Tips for Effective Use
- Start with Product Categories, as they are the most consistent way to understand a customer’s services.
- Drill down only as far as needed—Object Types and Profiles may be meaningful or less meaningful depending on how each customer environment is structured.
- Use Customer Overview for understanding; use other dashboards (e.g., Invoice Preparation) for editing or decision-making.
7. Limitations
- Customer Overview currently supports environments using the standard Contract model; coverage will expand over time.
- The organization tree inside the Customer Overview screen is not yet available; use search to locate customers.
- Suggested customers on the front page may include placeholder data.
- The significance of Object Types and Profiles varies depending on each customer’s configuration.
8. What’s New in 2026_1
Compared to the earlier 2025_4 version, Customer Overview now includes:
- Dual‑axis charts combining usage and billing
- Three new detail pages:
- Product Category Details
- Object Type Details
- Object Profile Details
- A deeper final drill-down into Objects & Charge Tickets
- Contract Details now shows both uninvoiced and invoiced tickets
