Highlights

  • New multifactor authentication (MFA) method: Authentication App for CPQ and Billing

Note: Versions older than 2025_3 now have limited support. New features and improvements are available in 2025_3 and later. 

Details

1. BILLING

1.1 New MFA (multi-factor authentication) option: Authentication App

In addition to the existing SMS and email options, authentication apps are now supported as an MFA method. Authentication apps provide a secure and convenient way to verify a user's identity during sign-in.

The feature can be enabled by a user with access to the Manage Login feature. Authentication type is configured individually for each user and must be enabled separately for every user who will use it. 

Once enabled for a user, the next time the user logs in he/she will be presented with the app registration screen.

1.2 New dashboard: Tasks

There is a new, still a work-in-progress dashboard called Tasks available. You can find it under Automation in the new UI layout. The purpose of this dashboard is to eventually replace existing Billing Tasks dashboard. The current Tasks consists of the grid, new preview available with a click of the button from the grid, and a canvas which is displayed by clicking on the row. Any rules can be opened from the little arrow icon in front of the grid.

  • Tasks dashboard requires user right Menu - Tasks (3460) and this will become automatically visible for users with User profile: Admin (1003)

1.3 Disabling sending of empty reports

When running or scheduling a report and sending it, you can now choose whether to send the report if it returns no data. If this option is selected, the ran report is displayed in the dashboard normally but not send to the selected recipient.

1.4 Contracts 

  • External contract line ID is now available on all generic contract line objects. This can be used as identifier when importing or updating the contract line from external data sources.

  • Cancellation possibility to usage data (transactions) (via GS API)

1.5 Integrations: Improved HubSpot integration

New, improved HubSpot integration supports for example creating, updating, getting properties and listing deals, quotes, line items and companies. 3 authentication methods are supported: Private App, OAuth2 Code and OAuth2 Refresh token

1.6 New fields on Charges dashboards

Charge add/edit screens as well as the Charge and Charge parameter dashboards now have 10 new fields. In the add/edit screens they are in a new Advanced parameters section and on the grids they will be some of the last columns to the right.

These fields aim to replace a lot of the need of custom parameters. At this stage they remain empty but Good Sign standard contract model tasks will eventually start using them, and they can be taken into custom use as well in your environment if needed.

In addition to these advanced parameters, financial parameters (CR Account, DB Account, CR Cost Centre and DB Cost Centre) can now also be seen in the Charges and Charge parameters grids. These were previously visible only in the Add/Edit screens.

1.7 Miscellaneous

100% discounts enabled: it is now possible to give 100% discounts (or technically, up to 999 % if you are feeling generous). Note: Until 2027_1, however, decimal percentages have to be full numbers, no decimals allowed.

Invoice batch sending: Combination of a custom invoice numbering and/or reference fetching process is and Invoice Batch sending now works.

Organizations Management button is now behind organization right-click instead of being a separate button

When importing data via interfaces by excel, the history of the actions displayed in interface events is now recorded to the correct author even if multiple users are using the interface simultaneously.

Release 2026_3 also includes a range of smaller improvements and fixes that enhance stability, correctness, and usability across the platform.

2. CPQ (configure-price-quote)

2.1 NEW: Phased Quotes

Sales teams can now schedule prices and discounts to change over time within a single quote using Phased Quotes. There is a new toggle in CPQ Admin UI that enables the feature.

2.2 NEW: Internal Approval Workflow

Companies can now require that quotes go through an internal approval step before they're sent to the customer, ensuring pricing and terms are reviewed before a deal moves forward.

2.3 NEW: MFA (multi-factor-authentication) option: Authentication App

Authentication App option is available also in CPQ. Supported authentication types: SMS, Email, Authenticator app


4. Summary of GS API changes

4.1 Changes to existing endpoints

4.1.1 Contracts

  • Contracts list

    • New output columns: ExternalContractId2, ExternalSubscriptionId, PartnerId, invoice_reference1, ContractCategory, ContractTemplateId, PaymentTerm, BillToOrgId

    • These are inserted between ExternalContractId and CustomParams

    • New output column: ContractidHash (only if @supportJson=0)

    • CustomParams now correctly in output as well (if any defined)

  • Contract actions
    • ExternalContractId uniqueness check changed to use an indexed hash. Note: this makes the check case-sensitive 
  • Contract create from template
    • Duplicate detection now done only against active contract header objects
    • ExternalContractId now case-sensitive
  • Contract line actions
    • POST/PUT: correct value now added to ExternalContractId

4.1.2 Charges

  • Charges actions
    • DELETE: enables deletion of charges NOT created by billing tasks, uninvoiced charges. Use of DELETE requires api user to have a Root (0) level user right Charge Management (3517)

4.1.3 Prices

  • Pricing actions

    • Parameters added: Comment

4.1.4 Invoice number

  • Fixed error message if called without iheader_id parameter

4.1.5 Datatable list

  • Default sort order now raw_id [desc] if raw_id exists

  • Now returns null values ​​by default. New query parameter "includenulls" can be used to specify whether null values ​​are returned.

    • includenulls=0 (do not return null values)

    • includenulls=1 (default, return null values)
