Interface Log Dashboard

The Interface Log contains an administrative view to the system logs. Connections between Good Sign and other systems appear in the Interface Log. The Interface Log dashboard can be found under the Logs menu: Logs > Interface Log.

The Interface Log dashboard is a general log for Good Sign's own & third-party interfaces.

The Interface Log gives an overview of what kind of events and actions have appeared in the environment. It is an easy and quick way to see if everything is working right with the interfaces in use and if any events have occurred. The interface log is meant for tracking interface actions, most commonly information transports from one system to another. By default, the most recent events are at the top of the list.

EXAMPLE: If you have system integrations, the integration events can be tracked. E.g., if organizational data has been exported to a financial management system, an event will appear on the interface log where the financial interface details and timeline of the exportation will be presented.

Tip: We suggest you create templates that contain the most relevant log information for your business by filtering the grid. The grid contains error data that might be irrelevant for you, but there are also errors that require action. By creating templates one can easily see if there are any important errors. These could be: failure to add something to the database, connection failure, etc.
